teamless and calo kids get nothing

take off the password and moderate the channel, now everyone can come in but the shitties cant spam pointless bullshit, passwording the channel is obviously pointless, and making it inviteonly is to much work.

have everyone tag up their real teamname and alias, deluser anyone who isnt tagged unless they are known invite children, which in that case will be opped. i hate seeing expo posting pointless trash when hes not even on a team and yet im cevom/calim and im not even voiced.

this way when you want to find a scrim against a team you wont be looking at a wall of shitty pug spams. you also wont see extremely bad kids posting that they are teamless every 30 seconds.

also, i have a team mate who is banned from the channel, everytime he gets unbanned he joins the channel and some bot auto bans him.

as long as the calforums are up and running(which right now are down), these forums will never be popular, screw the "Earning Access" shit.

Just because a team or player isnt im or main plus, doesnt mean they arent good. and following your guidelines any team that goes inactive and comes back and doesnt get the move up they asked for they loose their voice or op and they have to suffer playing sourceringer?

Every Season i happen to find a team that does well, and RQ's after one loss. or gets banned ie fallen and hyde. Just because i haven't found a team that will accept a loss and go im, i shouldn't be able to ring or find scrims in the channel?
I'm not saying i dont see you're point, it is frustrating when you ring or scrim a team that will either rage or not even put up a challenge. I think the spam should be like #findringer 1 post every 20-25 seconds or ban.

We greatly appreciate your ideas. We will let you know if we come to a decision on the points you laid out. I do like the tagging rule. I always find it that some teams don't use tags, which is quite unorganized.

I do however disagree with moderating the channel for all those who are not main/invite. This channel is for the entire source community. We reward those players and teams who move up to cal main or cal invite but we don't punish users who are still in cal open. I believe everyone starts at cal open.
