I would agree that winning open may be harder. However, on average IM teams > Open Teams. IM seems to be more consistent. While it still obviously has a few epic teams, open seems to have a few better teams than the top IM teams.

What I'm saying is that the best open team is usually better than the best IM team, the average IM team is almost always better than the average open team.

I also agree with this thread with obvious exceptions. Open is harder with more im+ 1.6 teams moving over. But im seems to be much more mature and like others said consistent

CAL-O is harder then CAL-IM. Every IM team we play is garbage.

they are pretty much the same, IM just sorts out all the horrid pub clans that register every season
